⤷To the people of the cultivation world, this name was legendary.
⤷Years ago, the four major sects had emptied their halls for that battle in which Tianlang-Jun had been sealed beneath Bai Lu Mountain. Though the forces of Cang Qiong Mountain had been one of the main participants, the ones who actually went to battle were the previous generation of peak lords. Of the current peak lords, only Yue Qingyuan had participated in that battle, as the head disciple of Qiong Ding Peak. With Xuan Su, his talent had shone, and he had played a key part.
➼ Yue Qingyuan was once a slave boy alongside the original Shen Qingqiu.
➼ He entered Cang Qiong Sect, and though the time frame isn't clear, he went into Wan Jian Peak, and pulled his sword out too early. Due to this, he qi deviated and his Shizun broke him down and tossed him into Lingxi Caves for more than a year. He was awake for one year and the others, it is hinted he was asleep.
➼ Strength wise, he is stronger than Luo Binghe, since he is able to fight without his sword. This is referred to when PIDW Binghe had to trick Yue Qingyuan into killing him, and when he faced Tianlang-Jun twice, as he was able to stand his ground each time.

⤷ Yue Qingyuan gripped Xuan Su, then struck at Tianlang-Jun with the sheathed sword.
⤷ Tianlang-Jun barely managed to evade. With a rumbling roar, half of the cave wall behind him collapsed right then and there, opening up a large hole.
➼ Xuan Su, once drawn, can emit a bright light and a ringing sound. However, continuous usage drains Yue Qingyuan's life force. The more he uses it, the weaker he is in a fight.

Because of this, he often has to put space between himself and work, to destress.➼ He has scars all over his body from his year in Lingxi Caves, and the years after that. Because of this, his skin, beneath his clothing, is rough and hardened.
⤷Based off this➼ He suffers qi deviations due to stress, and because of this, often drinks medicinal teas to calm his nerves.➼ He suffers from intense nightmares, due to his hallucinations from Lingxi Caves and his childhood abuse.➼ My take on Yue Qingyuan is that he is heavily yandere coded. He falls under the worshipping subtype.
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ He will see himself as insignificant to his love interest, primarily Shen Jiu, unless stated otherwise if you want YanYQYQWorshipping Yandere's are harmless, unless their love interest are not respected. They worship their beloved to the point they see themselves as unworthy if their love interests even returns affection. Depending how severe you wish it, Yue Qingyuan may even kill for his love.
